Tennessee Man Receives 210 Months for Ideological Arson and Attempted Hezbollah Support

A federal judge sentenced Regan Darby Prater to 210 months in prison, three years of supervised release and $1.289 million in restitution after his April guilty plea to arson and attempted material support to Hezbollah. He admitted destroying a Tennessee education-center building with an incendiary device because of white-supremacist ideology and, in 2019, attempting to transmit purported personal data on more than 35,000 people affiliated with the Israeli government to a person he believed was Hezbollah-linked. The sentence establishes the individual offenses; it does not quantify a current domestic network or show that Hezbollah received genuine data.
